We are a group of Sabbath-keeping Baptist churches and our groups are spread throughout Rwanda. We keep the Sabbath, not out of legalism, but out of a desire to do what God ordained to be good and what Jesus continued to do.
The Church was founded in September 1997 in Musanze town. The first church was Maranatha SDB Church located in Musanze Town, Musanze District with 53 members in Musanze Town, Northern Province. The congregations were planted one after another up to 33 groups with 2585 Christians. The Church is in 4 out of 5 provinces (in 11 districts out of 30 districts) of Rwanda. Since 28/04/2006, the church has an operating certificate (Legal personality) in Rwanda. The church continues its mission to evangelize the gospel across the country and outside the country. January 2014 it was the first dissemination of the gospel at the Musanze Community Radio.
